About the Artist
As an artist I find inspiration in the striking beauty of nature for my bold and dreamy florals. I find inspiration for calming coastal scenes from my surroundings growing up on the East coast. My paintings and photographs reflect the dynamic essence of these natural wonders through the use of vivid colors and expressive brushstrokes. Ultimately, I want to inspire and connect with my audience by conveying the energy and inherent beauty of nature through my art that ignites the senses. To turn something ordinary into something extraordinary, from a blank canvas to a place in time that the viewer can step into and experience something far beyond what they could imagine is what I seek to do.

I am primarily a self-taught artist with a diverse body of work as I like experimenting with new and different techniques using acrylics and alcohol inks on canvas. I also like to add an element of artistic impression to my photography to make my photos come alive and tell a story.

I am a native of the North Carolina coast and currently live and paint in the Charlotte, NC area. My works have been exhibited at Shain Art Gallery, Charlotte, NC, and The Charleston Market, Charleston, SC and are featured in many private collections throughout the United States. In addition, I am a contributor to Art with Heart – Charlotte, NC.
